Post-TMS Maintenance Strategies to Enhance Your Therapy Benefits

Maintenance strategies are designed to enhance and support these improvements made in therapy.

These are straightforward ways to enhance the longevity of your NeuroStar TMS results, improve your lifestyle with healthy choices, and lower the chances of relapse. Key Maintenance Strategies to Implement

So, what are the most effective ways to maintain your positive results from your NeuroStar TMS treatment? Here are some important strategies to implement that may help you sustain your results.

Go to Your Follow-Up Appointments

One of the best ways to keep your mental health on track is to attend your scheduled follow-up appointments. These appointments help our specialists monitor your progress and make any adjustments to your treatment. While most patients achieve good results with the initial treatment program, some benefit from retreatment, and your health specialists could assess if it is needed.

Maintain a Healthy Lifestyle

A healthy lifestyle could also help you strengthen the results of your NeuroStar TMS therapy. This includes maintaining a healthy and nutritious diet, engaging in regular physical exercise, and keeping a sufficient sleep schedule. Each of these habits helps improve your mood and overall mental health. In addition to incorporating these healthful habits, it is also important to avoid harmful habits like smoking and alcohol abuse.

Turn to Your Support Systems

Surrounding yourself with the right people improves your wellness and mental health. After TMS therapy, creating a strong support network with your friends, family, and other self-help groups in Houston is a great continuity plan. These people may offer you support, encouragement, and a sense of belonging.
